We are Menkind – a community charity based in Birmingham. Our mission is to enhance the quality of life for those struggling with mental health, self-esteem, confidence, and wellbeing. Dedicated to removing the stigma surrounding the seeking of support, creating a forum and safe space where members of our community can freely express their feelings openly without the fear of being judged.
You do not have to identify yourself, we are simply here to listen and offer advice.
We understand that communities are stronger when they tackle common issues together, providing mutual support and a platform for people to come together. Our workshops and focus groups are a key part of our Birmingham community charity initiatives, allowing individuals to share their experiences openly, fostering a sense of belonging and understanding.

We are thrilled to introduce our new youth activities, a vital initiative aimed at empowering young men and breaking the cycle of antisocial behaviour. Funded by the Heart of Englands Inclusive Communities Fund the project focuses on providing structured, engaging activities for youth in Sandwell and Dudley.
Our weekly youth activities take place every Monday, Wednesday, and Friday from 6 pm to 8:30 pm at Stumps Sports Centre. These sessions are designed to offer a safe and supportive environment where young men can develop new skills, build self-esteem, and form positive relationships.
Activities range from sports and fitness sessions to creative workshops and educational seminars, all facilitated by our team of experienced professionals, including sports coaches, teachers, and counsellors.

Your support can make a world of difference. At Menkind, we rely on the generosity of our community to continue providing essential services. Whether it's a one-time donation or a regular contribution, every penny helps us to support those in need. Your donations will help us run our workshops, support mental health initiatives, and provide a safe space for men and young boys to discuss their issues.
We are proud to announce that we have secured funding from The Awards for All Program and the Million Hours Fund, which will help us set up our base at the local community centre and cover running costs for the next two years. However, we still need your help to expand our services and reach more people in need.
Join us in making a difference. Whether you are looking for support, want to volunteer, or wish to partner with us, Menkind is here for you. Together, through our Birmingham community charity efforts, we can create a stronger, more cohesive community.
